Chargers Putting Faith in Philip Rivers

We shall see whether or not San Diego should have hung onto Drew Brees. But last year's Super Bowl was proof that you don't need a seasoned quarterback to go somewhere. Specifically to the NFL playoffs.
One thing our new QB has going for him seems to be durability--when he played NCAA football at North Carolina State, Philip Rivers had a record 51 starts. And he wasn't just showing up. Rivers was named MVP in five bowl games.
