Chargers working hard this summer.

I read an interesting story on the team’s official web site about the San Diego Chargers receiving core and running perfect routes. It appears they spend the off season practicing running their routes to make things easier on the Quarter back come game time and the regular season. Practice make perfect. Keenan McCardell and Eric Parker are two players who could use some skills training if they are going to produce well this coming season.

It is nice to see that we have 11 starters returning on our defensive that was top rated last year. Are we looking to beef up with a few of those rookie free agents that are so hopeful to land a spot on the Chargers roster?

Spending some time in the classroom…

Like a lot of players, Antonio Davis is taking this off-season to learn more about how to play and predict defense. Every player can benefit from learning about the ways that other players are going to cover them and about the different ways to cover their own opponents. Hopefully his studious behavior will spread to other members of the team as well.
